When love is a tree stump..

I have fallen in love with these Nordic tree stumps!  They are the creation of Cathrine Glende from  the farm Krosser in Ås, Norway.

Her idea is simple, and that's perhaps why the stumps are so very special.  The entire "production" takes place at the farm.  This is no mass production! Each pine tree is carefully selected  cut into chunks, sanded, dried and nurtured before it is finally painted.

      Yes just perfect! Such a shame they are so heavy otherwise I would be having one!

    These look interesting. I would have to see and touch one to give a final opinion but it's certainly different and I suppose it's sustainable.
