I am very fortunate and have stayed in loads of lovely Danish summer houses over the years, each with their own charming quirks. But never have I been blessed enough to stay in a house like this, which manages to capture the essence of a traditional summer house whilst at the same time giving it a contemporary and cool edge.
LOVE LOVE LOVE
Love that they have kept the traditional stained wood on the outside whilst keeping the pine planks raw on the inside of the house.
That's quite a statement - in an understated way, if that makes any sense. It looks great, but I don't think I could actually live with all those wooden walls and ceilings. Still, there's something great about it :-)
