I've fallen for an advent calendar ♥

Ok, so I'm no longer a child and should probably not get THAT excited about an advent calendar! But this one is so simple and beautiful in its design that it makes my heart sing...

Christmas In Wood

These wooden Christmas decorations are the work of  the Finnish born designer  Hanna Francis and
are on sale in my shop!  The decorations look great as they are, but can of course be painted in any colour you fancy. I liked my birds so much, that I couldn't bare to take them down after Christmas so I went ahead and painted them with blackboard paint and have been hanging in my windows ever since!

Why not check out my shop for more designs from Hanna Francis

Urban candle light

The days are short in Scandinavia and people just love candle light as it creates a cosy atmosphere and keeps the darkness at bay. Whether it's Morning or evening you are certain to find a candle on the table in most homes.

These lovely lighthouses are available from the Danish company Kähler.

I've started working on my Christmas wish list & this week I'm rather taken by these classic Danish wooden creatures!

Would any of these guys make it to your wish list?

Something for the weekend?

If you fancy getting creative this weekend then why not have a go at making a fab dip dyed cushion? The step by step instructions can be found over on A Merry Mishap and it looks like a lot of fun...

What do you say?

A home with an industrial vibe

This edgy Copenhagen home was previously a pencil factory but has since been converted into a fabulous family home.

I'm particularly loving...

the industrial style kitchen from Vipp

the pendant lights, "Københavnerlampen" from CPH Lighting

the stove from Aduro and the wooden floor from Dinesen

the Sofa from Engell
