Ok, so I'm no longer a child and should probably not get THAT excited about an advent calendar! But this one is so simple and beautiful in its design that it makes my heart sing...
These wooden Christmas decorations are the work of the Finnish born designer Hanna Francis and are on sale in my shop! The decorations look great as they are, but can of course be painted in any colour you fancy. I liked my birds so much, that I couldn't bare to take them down after Christmas so I went ahead and painted them with blackboard paint and have been hanging in my windows ever since!
Why not check out my shop for more designs from Hanna Francis

These lovely lighthouses are available from the Danish company Kähler.
I've started working on my Christmas wish list & this week I'm rather taken by these classic Danish wooden creatures! Would any of these guys make it to your wish list?
If you fancy getting creative this weekend then why not have a go at making a fab dip dyed cushion? The step by step instructions can be found over on A Merry Mishap and it looks like a lot of fun...
I've just come across this bright and very clever designed children's furniture just perfect for creative play. The designers behind Small design are Anja Lykke og Eglantine Charrier both graduates from the Danish Design School.
