Adore the quotes & loving the prints
Loving the feminine style and gentle messages used by the Swedish artist Ylva Sharp. We have recently seen loads of prints with cool and poignant messages, but Ylva's style is new and different - just beautiful!

Poster love "One Must Dash"
My current poster love goes to One Must Dash! If something makes you smile surely it can only be a good thing!
Anneli and Anki (the owners) think friendship is the most creative context of all, and who can blame them! If their work is anything to go by, they do seem to have a laugh as well as a very well developed sense of humor! Their ambition is to carry on producing decorative things with an humorous edge. And there is one rule, it has to be beautiful and humorous! I for one will be keeping an eye on these twinkled eyed girls and can't wait to see what comes next!

Vibrant design
I am all for the moody grey colour palettes, but also enjoy a splash of colour now and then to keep a room fresh and vibrant. Ingvi and Tinna, the Icelandic design duo behind Dóttir og Sonur are amazing at doing just that! And enjoy and have fun experimenting with product design and colour. The origami poster and the “Lightlace” are amongst my favourites, each creating interest without taking over a space...

The best is yet to come ...
Get the day off to a good start with a comforting mug of hot chocolate and start making it happen ♡
Ingredients
1 vanilla pod, split and seeds scraped out
1 cinnamon stick
1 liter of milk
150g plain chocolate, chopped into small pieces
sugar, to taste
freshly grated nutmeg, for dusting
This is how it is done
Heat the vanilla pod and seeds, cinnamon stick and milk in a saucepan until boiling.
Take the pan of the heat and add the chocolate pieces, keep stirring until the chocolate melts.
Whisk the hot chocolate vigorously until frothy on top and add sugar, to taste. Serve with a dusting of cocoa.
