Christmas the natural way...

For me Christmas is all about connecting with nature and using what's out there to decorate. With the help of a bit of clay, moss and a few pine cones it's possible to make the most beautiful Scandinavian inspired decorations!

That's a wrap

I'm happy to say that December has been very busy here at Skandivis! Thankfully it seems like lots of you are still in love with the Nordic lifestyle and are buying Scandinavian Christmas presents. I  wonder what the gifts will look like all wrapped up on Christmas day?

Will they look anything like these  ...

I've fallen for an advent calendar ♥

Ok, so I'm no longer a child and should probably not get THAT excited about an advent calendar! But this one is so simple and beautiful in its design that it makes my heart sing...

Christmas In Wood

These wooden Christmas decorations are the work of  the Finnish born designer  Hanna Francis and
are on sale in my shop!  The decorations look great as they are, but can of course be painted in any colour you fancy. I liked my birds so much, that I couldn't bare to take them down after Christmas so I went ahead and painted them with blackboard paint and have been hanging in my windows ever since!

Why not check out my shop for more designs from Hanna Francis
